#1 and #9 Tee Improvements

#1 Tee Box

The tree right of the tee box uprooted and mangled the shrubs so we removed the damaged shrubs which opened the surrounding area. The pine tree was limbed up to give golfers a great view down 1 fairway as well as a beautiful view of #18.

#9 Tee Box

Water build up behind the tee impeded the health of the turf, the staff graded a gradual slope in order to get proper drainage to the basin and sodded the area behind using in house sod. The fescue-rye mixture seeded previously has grown in fairly well, we will be seeding the area again with rye grass as well as another application of tenacity for weed prevention.
